The last night of the bands month long residency at The Academy in Dublin was delayed slightly as the band were whisked back from their performance on The Late Late Show. They arrived at the sold out Academy to a euphoric atmosphere accompanied by the now familiar chants of “Loose Loose Loose”. Taking the stage slightly before midnight, Mik Pyro led the band through a two hour set of songs from their first two albums mixed with eight tracks from the new album. During ‘Comeback Girl’ the Loose were joined onstage by Snow Patrol. Other special guests on the night included The Dirty Brass Horns.
Over the four shows, the Loose played for just over eight hours to over 3000 fans, with special guests that included, Sinead O’Connor, Damien Dempsey, Snow Patrol, Jape, The Millionaire Boyz, Judith Mok, Pat Farrel, The Mighty Stef, Dirty Epics, The Dirty Brass Horns and a stripper.
Loosetastic…
