It’s been two years since Republic Of Loose took a sharp left turn from the road they had paved with perfect pop songs to make an album the Irish Times described as “tangled up in banging, electro-laced club tunes”. 2010’s Bounce At The Devil left critics clamouring for superlatives to describe the sheer breadth of the bands creative reach.
But after stretching those “4 to the floor” muscles, Mik Pyro and co. felt the time was right to treat the citizens of Looseville to some old fashioned velvety textures again.
