The Loose played a short set to a few hundred competition winners at Andrews Lane Theatre on Saturday night. Following the Loose’ performance, Ash took to the stage and rocked it out with a blistering set of classics and new material culminating in a show stopping version of ‘Whiskey in the jar’ with Mik Pyro on vocals.

Republic of Loose kick start their new album campaign tomorrow night with the first of a four show residency at Dublins Academy. Doors will be at 7pm with support act ‘Asha’ onstage at 7.40pm. Republic of Loose will be onstage at 8.40pm

The band will perform a new song from their forthcoming album which is due for release on Oct 8th. Ryan & Tracy will also be giving new single ‘The Man’ it’s first spin on Spin. The first single to be taken from the forthcoming Republic of Loose album is ‘The Man’. Recorded in Baltimore over the summer ‘The Man’ will be released on iTunes and all other download platforms on September 24th with the new album penciled in for October 8th.
